Athletes with and without disabilities share the same roster, the same practices, and the same court time.

Who Can Participate?

The league is open to boys and girls in Kindergarten through 3rd grade of ALL abilities.

Children with any disability are welcome to participate. We want to work with families to provide reasonable accommodations and support so children who use wheelchairs, need sensory supports, communicate differently, or require additional assistance can participate as fully as possible.

Children without disabilities are equally important to the program! Our unified athletes will play alongside their teammates, encourage them, build friendships, and learn that everyone brings something valuable to a team.

No previous basketball experience is necessary.

How Does It Work?

The program runs for six weeks, with families committing to just one hour each Sunday.

Each session will include:

20 Minutes — Basketball Skills: players will work on age-appropriate skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork, and movement.

10 Minutes — Inclusion & Teamwork Lesson: each week we will focus on a simple lesson about kindness, inclusion, friendship, differences, teamwork, and encouraging others.

30 Minutes — Unified Basketball Game: then it’s time to play! Athletes with and without disabilities will take the court together for a fun, supportive game.

Games will consist of four short quarters with a running clock, and we will not keep score.

Because winning isn’t the goal. Belonging is.
